Master Flavio Daniele

Flavio Daniele lives in Bologna where he teaches Chinese martial arts (Chen and Yang style Taiji Quan, Ten Animals Six Harmonies Xin Yi Quan, Lan Shou Quan) and mental and energetic development disciplines (Qi Gong and Nei Gong). He starts practising in 1967 with Judo, he abandons after 3 years and carries on with Karate Shotokan for more than 15 years gaining in 1980 the 3° dan under the school of M° Hiroshi Shirai. Between the end of 70’s and beginning of 80’s he starts studying Chinese martial arts. In the middle of 80’s, he definitively abandons the teaching of Karate and Yoga, he had started in 1970, to exclusively devote himself to the study and teaching of Chinese martial arts. In 1996 he also leaves his job as computer engineer to dedicate his life to their teaching and spreading. Taking advantage of his long experience in martial arts and in the study of Oriental disciplines (Yoga, Zen, Taoism) and of modern western psychotherapies, he created TAO G.E.D. for Martial Arts. G.E.D. is The Way (Tao) of Global Energetic Development, a technique for the development of the physical-energetic and mental potentialities of the person: the harmonic integration between modern western teaching methodologies and ancient oriental techniques of mind control and physical and mental strengthening.

M° Flavio Daniele has founded Nei Dan school with the main aim to develop, re-value and spread a practise of internal martial arts, meant not only as simple practise of psycho-physical rebalance, but also as real and true path of spiritual growth. The school works under the guide and teaching of some of China’s biggest masters: first of all M° Guo Ming (George) Xu for Taiji Chen Style and Xing-Yi, who is the school’s present guide; then M° Ma Hong, also for Chen style, who during summer 1996 was welcomed as a guest in the school for the whole month of August; M° Ye Xiao Long for Yang style, guest in the school for more than a month in summer 1998; the late M° Wang Hao Da for Wu style who was guest in the school for more than a month per year from 1999 to 2001 and, together with M° Xu, was the school’s guide;M° Wang Zhi Xiang for Yang style, the school’s present guide together with Mr Xu,.

These as well as other masters have enabled the school to gather during years a heritage of knowledge, which makes of it a certain reference point for all practitioners. The school, beside the organisation of stages with the big Chinese masters usually in autumn, spring and summer, arranges teacher training classes and deepening classes for instructors and masters.

Flavio Daniele is the author of the books “The Three Ways of Tao”, “The Three Secret Powers of Taiji Quan”, “The Ancient Form of Chen Style Taiji Quan”, “The Secret Power of the Body in Martial Arts” and “Science, Tao and the Art of Fighting”. He is also author of a didactic video on Taiji Yang style and videos on Nei Gong, the ancient exercises for the strengthening of the body-mind system. He collaborates with the Physical Training Faculty of the Bologna University as well as with the biggest Italian, European and American magazines of martial arts and spirit sciences.
